had seen so many billboards and posters for clint the last time in vegas that this time for sure we knew even months before that we HAD to see clint holmes even if it was the cheesiest show in vegas. basically anyone can get a half price tik for clint. just look in many of the flyers or show guides for a coupon. went to the box office and the guy there said there were only 158 seats left out of 600 for the next nite's show so got 3 tix for 99 bucks in the 7th row. and the next nite none were availsble as clint was doing a corporate show. clint came out ,sang his hit, said goodnight, ha ha, then for the next hour and ahalf put on one helluva show. at first i thought maybe he was hepped up on crack or ice as he had so much manic energy, but i think its just the way he is. his band was great and so were his backup singers which included his sister. his song from "golden boy" was the highlight for me but the whole show was great and i'd definately see him again.

talk about egos. wow! whoever said this man took over after sammy davis jr died should be shot. not only was he off key most of the performance but his so-called conductor,whatever his name should be buried not along side of him but right on either top or the bottom of the same casket.
and for a singer that nobody knows ,other than himself. all he talks about is himself and his family. and most of the songs 98% of the audience no one ever heard. i wouldn.t even rate him as a top lounge act let alone a headliner.
he better keep kissing up to whoever it is inside harrah's or there would't
be a seat in the house. if it wasn't for probably the most advertised act in las vegas and most likely 90% comped. clint holmes would not even get a job choir coach,
harrah's, wake up.

This man has energy to spare - what a wonderful show - have seen most entertainers in Las Vegas for the past 20 some years and as singers/entertainers he is one of the BEST! You come out of this show feeling fantastic - and when he introduces his Mom - that's the best. Keep going Clint you are absolutely fabulous - I have told everyone about your great performance.

I went to this concert August 9 for my older sister has gotten two free tickets! I was basically driving to the concert, and me being the fourteen year old girl that I am, I thought it'd be the worst concert in the world, she told me he'd being singing very very old music, and I listen to the eighties but the name Clint Holmes, I have seen in magizines and I was just thinking it would be the worst concert I have ever seen in my entire life! But Clint Holmes, Jerry Lopez, James Hosmer showed me that music will always live in my soul, and this concert was not the worst concert it was the best CONCERT EVERRRR!!!! hahah, I really enjoyed it not because James Hosmer took my breath away, because he has talent every single soul in this show has talent and has faith in themselves and they have fun and lotz of energy and that's what makes this concert so special, and if you haven't gone to see it you should, I even was surpised it was that great, and in the end, you would totally want to go meet James Hosmer, cause believe me he is a very handsome, powerful, outstanding, and what's hte word i'm thinking of ummm he's very TALENTED AND GIFTED, I really want to meet him some day, and you will never forget when you see this concert that you saw it!! YOu will wnat to see every person in this concert and get their autograph cause when i got home I so wanted to haha!!
Enjoy watching this concert if you haven't!!!!! And bring a family member to talk to about or a friend anyone who enjoy music will love this, well except if you like weird music like rap, haha!

We have been to this show twice in the past 3 months. It is a very "feel good" show. Clint and his fellow performers/band are excellent. It is non-stop entertainment at its finest. What a talent. You don't have to be over 65 to enjoy this show. Our kids are 9 and 13. They really enjoyed it also.

Clint Holmes is an incredible performer. He is so versatile, can dance and really reaches out and touches the audience. He's all heart and freely shares the stage with his wonderful band and performers. This is one great show!

Im not sure what rock the previous reviewers have been living under. He sang 2 maybe 3 of his own songs. If you do not recognise the other songs-see rock comment. Clint has a top notch band-best Ive seen in vegas or anywhere in along time. He demonstrates a wide variety of ranges within the songs. Also god forbid entertainers who interact with the audience. He is proud from where he came from and the conditions he grew up in. It should be motivation for so many people in this country who take for granted everything we have. Enough of the negatives-go see this show with all the 2 fers out there. You will not be dissapointed and certainly not bored ! PS Im not related to him or work for Harrahs, just a satisfied customer and dont miss the Scintas at the RIO.

Everywhere I went in Las Vegas a Clint Holmes sign loomed. So I thought, this must be a Great show, he has lots of advertising. It is in fact a good show. Not a Great One. Clint Holmes sings too many of his own songs, and lets face it if they were any good they would have been KNOWN. The musical that Mr. Holmes wrote and was in Chicago died a horrible death and got dreadful notices. I would stick to what works if I were he. Also he tries to hard to be friends with the audience, it comes off rather phony. Again it is not a bad show, but for the money that Harrah's has soaked into Clint Holmes they could have had someone with some kind of name value.

I had been to Vegas tons of times before ever electing to see a show. On my last trip I saw Penn & Teller, Elton John, and Clint Holmes. Guess what? Clint Holmes was by far the best show! I guess it's not really fair to compare Clint's show to Penn & Teller, but Clint was DEFINATELY way better than Elton John. Clint was a one-hit-wonder in the record business, but he's found his calling as a Vegas headliner. I was absolutely entertained for the entire length of the show, and consider it well worth my time and money. To compare it again to Elton John at Ceasar's, if I had to choose one or the other to see every night for a week, it wouldn't even be a contest... I'd see Clint every night. He is just a fabulous entertainer, without being "gimicky." He just is a great singer and dancer, and his band is awesome!
My only knock on the experience isn't at all a knock on Clint, but on the crowd. If I were to tune out the music and just look around at the audience, I would feel like I was attending a seminar at an AARP convention. I assume that's because of the older crowd at Harrah's because his show is very upbeat.

I never miss this show when I come to Vegas. Clint is a top-notch entertainer with an amazing story. His charisma will sweep you away. I highly recommend that you get set for a fabulous time at Harrahs. He has an electic band with each performer more talented than the other! He consistently shines above all other talent no matter when I am visiting my favorite town. Be prepared to feel energized, uplifted & grateful after you have seen this show. Clint Holmes is up there for me & friends. You can bet on that!
